 The most abundant form of Coelenterazine found in nature.

Native Coelenterazine is the preferred substrate for Gaussia luciferase. 

The luciferin is shipped as filtered, lyophilized, batch controlled substrate

in 500 µg aliquots (1 mg = 2x 500 µg) and in 5 mgs and 10mgs ( 2 x5mgs)  aliquots. 

The advantages of lyophilized luciferins are:

pre-aliquoted in small amounts, fresh substrate for every set of experiments

long shelf-life (packed under Argon)

faster to dissolve due to its fine crystal structure

consistent quality between aliquotes
